Dr. Ale Kennedy, Director of Human Resources at Clemson University, to Serve on CUPA-HR Board of Directors

Ale Kennedy, director of human resources for academics at Clemson University, has been tapped to serve a two-year term on the board of directors of the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA-HR). She will join the board on July 1.

Kennedy has been a CUPA-HR member for 15 years and has held various leadership roles in the organization. Some highlights of her service include serving as a member of the Southern Region board and involvement in the association’s Georgia Chapter, where she served on the executive committee, program planning committee, professional development sub-committee and as secretary. She has also served as a presenter and mentor at numerous CUPA-HR conferences.

Kennedy has worked in human resources for more than 20 years, 15 of which have been in leadership roles in higher education at Augusta University (formerly Medical College of Georgia) and Georgia Southern University.
